Corporate Governance

Good governance is how we earn and keep the trust of our customers, shareholders and communities.

How We Are Governed

Clear roles, responsible leadership

Corporate governance is the system of rules, practices and responsibilities by which Asutifi Community Bank PLC is directed and controlled. It sets out who makes decisions, who is accountable for them, and how the interests of everyone connected to the bank are protected.

The Board of Directors provides oversight and sets the strategic direction of the bank. The Management Team is responsible for running the bank day to day and delivering that strategy, in line with the bank's policies and the law.

Our Principles

What good governance means to us

Accountability

The Board and Management are answerable to shareholders, regulators and the communities we serve for the way the bank is run.

Transparency

We communicate openly about our performance and publish our reports so stakeholders can see how the bank is doing.

Integrity & Ethics

We act honestly and fairly in every dealing, and expect the same standards from every director, manager and staff member.

Risk Management

We identify, measure and manage risks carefully to protect customers' deposits and the long-term health of the bank.

Compliance

We operate within the laws and the regulatory requirements that apply to banks in Ghana.

Stakeholder Care

We listen to our customers, staff, shareholders and communities, and act on their concerns.
